Biography

I am a graduate student advised by Jörg Liebeherr and Almut Burchard. I graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics, at the University of Bucharest, Romania with a B.S. in Informatics. I hold a masters degree in Computer Science from George Mason University.
Resumé

Research

I am involved in the area of the stochastic network calculus, a relatively new theory initiated in the early 1990's for analyzing the performance of packet networks. The goal of my current work is to complete a Ph.D. thesis that will contribute significantly to the field.
