Course Summary
This course is concerned with theoretical and practical issues
of operating system design. The emphasis of the lecture is on theoretical
concepts of distributed operating systems. Other topics include formal
protection models and real-time operating systems.
The homeworks and the semester project emphasize practical aspects of operating
systems.
