Summary of Comments: Standard Items

Q1: Write any general comments in the space below:
Comment1.1 A classic MIT style class -- fancy slides, abnormal problem sets, childish humors. You will gain certain amount of knowledge in computer science language but not as specific in details as cs201. You will also lose more sleep and get a lower GPA than taking cs201. But anyway, if you can hang on not to drop it in the first 2 weeks, you will have fun later. And if you are a charming female this course will be specially very friendly to you.
Comment1.2 David Evans is one of the best professors I have ever had.
Comment1.3 I really enjoyed the class despite the fact that it required so much time. I feel like even though I probably didnt learn all of the course material fully, I still got a lot out of the class and learned a lot. The instructor was able to bring excitement and interest to a topic that can be extremely boring.
Comment1.4 This class was excellent. I learned both programming and design techniques, and the true meaning of Computer Science.
Comment1.5 This is by far the best course and instructor I believe I could have in a Computer Science course. I think CS201J and CS200 should be offered every semester, so that people could benefit from not having to take CS101, which is among the worst classes Ive ever had.
Comment1.6 David Evans is one of only 3 professors at UVA I know that actually cares about students.
