Computer Science Corporate Partners

The Computer Science department at U.Va. partners with companies to conduct cooperative research, generate new intellectual property, build software prototypes, and engage in intellectual inquiry of mutual benefit.

We have successfully applied the expertise of our faculty and students to over 100 industry-sponsored research projects. We invite your company to join our CSCP program whose participants currently include Microsoft, Worldcom, Cisco, Lockheed Martin, Computer Associates, Intel, and Sun Microsystems.

Our CSCP program will provide your company with some spectacular benefits:

  • Access to our research faculty, staff, and students
  • Notification about our research results
  • Simplified contact with our graduate and undergraduate students
  • Student recommendations from our faculty
  • Corporate visibility to our students via your technical presentations at U.Va.
  • Invitation to attend the annual CSCP meeting

Our CSCP annual meeting on November 9, 2001, brought 30 companies to U.Va. to hear research progress reports from our faculty and students. The presenters, topics, and copies of their presentations may be found here.

For more information about joining our CSCP program, contact Professor Alfred Weaver, CSCP Coordinator, at weaver@virginia.edu.
