Friday Poem

A guy looks downstairs at a Wisconsin statue he doesn’t like.

Untitled Poem

Georg stood at the top of the stair
His brow o’er stitched with woe
And cast his eyes in a piercing stare
  On the person down below.
’Twas Marion, the queen of cheese,
That caught his look of scorn.
She stood there, fixed in an unfelt breeze
  All soulful and forlorn.
Why did the sculptor choose to place
  A cheese-wedge on her head,
Instead of letting her hair with grace
  Flow out behind instead?
