Anh Nguyen-Tuong Dependability Research Group Dept. of Computer Science, University of Virginia Olsson Hall, Room 113B Email: nguyen AT virginia.edu |
| Bio | I am currently working
in the areas of
dependability for safety-critical systems and survivability for
large-scale networks. Prior to joining the Dependability Research
Group, I held a position at Avaki
Corporation, a grid
company providing enterprise information
integration software, where I was the chief architect of Avaki's
availability solution. I have published several papers in the fields of
grid computing, i.e., large-scale distributed systems, and fault
tolerance. I hold a BS (magna cum laude) in Physics and Computer
Science from the College of William and Mary, Virginia, and a Ph.D. in
Computer Science from the University of Virginia. I'm currently working on achieving dependable and survivable grids and hardening web applications using precise PHP taint mode analysis.

Tennis in Fall, Spring, and
Summer. Racquetball in Winter. Wallyball year around. I am an avid collector of AOL CDs and credit-card-sized plastic cards. Eventually I might just find something useful to do with all my CDs and cards. |
