Ana Nora (Sovarel) Evans
I will start the graduate program in Mathematics at the University of Virginia in Fall 2008. I am currently taking some math classes and I am trying to learn as much topology as I can.
In May 2008, I attended the Program for Women and Mathematics at the Institute for Advanced Study. Here are some pictures: IAS, math party.
In 2006 and 2007 I worked as a research programmer in Dr. James Harrison's research group.
In June 2006, I graduated with a Master in Computer Science degree from University of Virginia.
I was a graduate student in the Computer Science department since Fall 2004.
I have a BS degree in Computer Science from Politehnica University of Bucharest.
My advisor was Prof. Irina Athanasiu. Also, I enjoyed being a teaching assistant for Prof. Lorina Negreanu and Prof. Cristian Giumale.
I had some fun working for Nobel, Avalanche Mobile(One5) and Distinto.
