Areas of Interest

Software engineering, software reliability engineering, software testing and maintenance, analysis and testing of web applications, usability, performance analysis, and ways to increase capacity and retention in introductory programming courses.


Upsorn Praphamontripong is a full-time lecturer in the Computer Science Department at the University of Virginia. She expects her PhD in Information Technology (Software Engineering) from George Mason University, December 2016. She received her MS in Computer Science from Central Michigan University and her BS in Computer Science from Thammasat University. As a graduate student at George Mason University, she involved in the Self-Paced Learning Increases Retention and Capacity (SPARC) project, focusing on increasing capacity and retention as well as increasing enrollment by women.
