From aprotim at cs.virginia.edu Mon Oct 1 20:09:07 2007 From: aprotim at cs.virginia.edu (Aprotim Sanyal) Date: Mon, 1 Oct 2007 20:09:07 -0400 Subject: [Frisbee] Playoff times Message-ID: <8ce07d5d0710011709i4500c3b9s7d1be5cf312958c6@mail.gmail.com> We have our playoff times selected! For Co-rec, we are seed 6 on the schedule (http://www.virginia.edu/ims/imsports/imtrack/Fall_I_2007_Ultimate_FrisbeePrePlayoffUltimateCoRec_WinnersBracket.html) This means our first playoff game is TOMORROW at 8PM. Women, please come! We don't like wearing out our womenfolk by having them running the entire 40 minutes. For independent, we are seed 12 on the schedule (http://www.virginia.edu/ims/imsports/imtrack/Fall_I_2007_Ultimate_FrisbeePrePlayoffUltimateIndependent_WinnersBracket.html) Our first game is Wednesday, at 8PM (There is no seed 21, so we advance straight to round 1) Quick reminders: we can add players throughout the playoffs, but they cannot have played in the same league this season. (Also, this means if any of you have played on a different Co-rec or Independent frisbee team this season, only come play with us when we're playing in the other league.) See you all tomorrow. -- Aprotim Sanyal From kas9ud at cs.virginia.edu Sat Oct 6 20:36:54 2007 From: kas9ud at cs.virginia.edu (Karolina Sarnowska) Date: Sat, 6 Oct 2007 20:36:54 -0400 Subject: [Frisbee] Fun season goodbye Message-ID: <009001c8087a$2967a5f0$7c36f1d0$@virginia.edu> Hey all, It was a fun season! We scored every time and we even won a game.a definite improvement over last year :D Let's keep in mind that we don't have to put our cleats up til next year. It'd be fun to play a game once in a while.perhaps even get something going monthly once spring rolls around. Thanks for coming out and playing with us! Next up: volleyball (and you all know that's my personal fav so I'm excited!!!!!!). Be sure to join the list-serve (volley at cs) if you are up for it. The intramural season will begin at the end of October. I will do my best to get GESC to sponsor two teams again. :P In the meantime we'll be playing Sunday nights. Go athl33ts! Joel also mentioned that I should, perhaps send out these emails earlier in the week so that people can plan more in advance, so here I go: Pick-up frisbee, this Sunday, the 28th, at 2 PM at Nameless field.
