It looks as though you are not including the header where
G_BEGIN_DECLS is #defined.  For use with C, <glib.h> is supposed
to #define G_BEGIN_DECLS and G_END_DECLS both as having empty replacements.


Hello Richard,

Thanks for your input. This parse error was be related with 
definition of G_BEGIN_DECLS. The sequence in which glib's include directory's
were specified was not correct. Therefore splint was not able to find the
definitions. Got that fixed now.
