Hi Ethan,

I doubt splint will compile on an 16-bit operating system, so I'm
pretty sure you won't get a native DOS splint. However, I remember
there have been 32-bit DOS extensions (emx et al.). 

As I don't think they provide a POSIX shell environment, don't know
how to run the configure script on an extended DOS, though.
