[splint-discuss] Speeding up splint.

Currently two thirds of our compilation time is taken up by splint.

Is there any way to speed it up?

For example, are there certain checks or flags that are much slower
than others?

Is there any room for optimizing splint? eg.Hot spots in the splint code.

Is there any way of separating the preprocessor step from the rest so
one can distribute it via distcc?
