We do this once a year in cooperation with the ACM and the ACM-W student chapters. Our department chair, Mary Lou Soffa, will be there to hear any kind of comment and suggestion you want to make about our courses and degree programs. Any undergrad studying computing, in either the CS, CpE, CS/College majors or as a minor, is welcome and encouraged to attend. Make your voice heard, or come hear what's new! We really want to hear from 4th years about to graduate all the way through to those just starting in the major. What: CS Dept Feedback Forum When: Thursday, March 23, 4:30-5:25pm Where: MEC 205 Why: Talk to the dept about your thoughts and experiences Pizza? But of course! The meeting will follow immediately after CS290/390 ends at 4:20pm in the very same room. We have to be done in time for CS230 to start in that room at 5:30pm. If you're taking CS416 which meets at 5pm, Prof. Brogan is going to delay the start of that class so you can attend. The department gets a lot of valuable feedback from these meetings and takes them very seriously. In fact two recent changes in our BSCS program resulted from discussions first brought up by our undergrads at this meeting. (The change from CS390 to CS290, and the new rule about ECE435.)
