From Washington National Airport (DCA):
- Take Highway 1 north, then Interstate 66 west, then Route 29 south. Driving distance is about 130 miles, driving time is about 2.5 to 3.0 hours (during non-rush hours) depending upon Washington traffic.
From Washington Dulles Airport (IAD):
- Exit Dulles on the Dulles access road; take the first exit onto Route 28 south. At the intersection with Interstate 66 take I-66 west, then Route 29 south. Driving distance is about 110 miles, driving time is about 2.0 to 2.5 hours depending upon traffic.
From Charlottesville Airport (CHO):
- Rental car counters are just inside the terminal building; rental car parking is just outside the baggage claim area. Taxis are available just outside the terminal building.
At the airport take the second exit on the circle (12:00) and continue straight ahead on Airport Road for 0.8 miles. At the traffic light turn right onto Route 29 South. Proceed 8.1 miles and bear right onto Stadium Road. Make the right onto Whitehead Road. Take the first left into lot E3.
The Department of Computer Science is located on the second floor of Olsson Hall (the large brick building adjacent to the parking lot T4 across from E3). Enter at the side of the building. The departmental office is in room 205.
