Using the Edison Design Group front end with the Zephyr infrastructure
The Zephyr compiler infrastructure can be used with the C/C++ front
end developed by the Edison Design
Group.
To get the source code, you must ask EDG (by web or email).
You must ask explicitly for version 2.40.
(This is the latest release as of May, 1999.)
After you complete EDG's paperwork, they will send you
information about how to download
the software.
EDG is generally willing to make their source available without
cost to researchers in the U.S., and often to researchers
outside the U.S.
After downloading the EDG C/C++ front end, follow the
installation instructions
from the Zephyr software page.
