  • The Zephyr compiler infrastructure can be used with the C/C++ front end developed by the Edison Design Group. To get the source code, you must ask EDG (by web or email). You must ask explicitly for version 2.40. (This is the latest release as of May, 1999.) After you complete EDG's paperwork, they will send you information about how to download the software. EDG is generally willing to make their source available without cost to researchers in the U.S., and often to researchers outside the U.S.

    After downloading the EDG C/C++ front end, follow the installation instructions from the Zephyr software page.
