Computers4Kids info For Charlottesville and Albemarle students in grades seven through 12. While much of our focus is on our mentoring program, Computers4Kids also emphasizes after-school independent learning as well. All students in the program are eligible to earn a free home computer system and year of free internet access. Mentors work with kids in the learning lab, which is open after school, in the evenings and on weekends.
Young Women Leaders Mentoring Program info YWLP is a mentoring program run by the UVa Women's Center and Curry School of Education. We focus on building competent, connected, and autonomous women leaders through a combination of individual and group mentoring. Program restrictions require mentors to be women. The time commitment will not be excessive and should be rewarding -- after school one afternoon a week.
