Quick Directions to Residence

From 29N, take a left on to Hydraulic Road, and turn right at the fourth light on to Townwood Road. From 29S, take a right on to Rio Road, and turn left at the third light on to Townwood Road. Once on Townwood Road, turn left at the intersection on to Cool Spring Road. Park in the marked spots or next to the lawn and knock on 1625 Cool Spring Road. Map for directions

Detailed Directions to Residence

  1. From Charlottesville downtown, the Corner or the University, take 29N. Turn left on Hydraulic Road. Go to 3.
    From north of Charlottesville, Washington DC or down 29S, turn right on Rio Road. Go to 4.
    From 81N or 81S, get on to 64E and take exit 118B for Charlottesville. From Richmond or along 64W, take exit 118B for Charlottesville which puts you on 29N.
  2. Keep straight on 29N (not 29N&Business!) till the first light. At this light, turn left on to Hydraulic. Go through the first two lights, passing K-Mart on your right and Kroger on your left.
  3. Just past the intersection of Hydraulic and 29N, you will pass a Blockbuster immediately on your right. Drive for 1.5 miles through the next 3 lights passing Commonwealth Drive, Georgetown Road and Lamb Road - Whitehead Street. At the fourth light, you will see Rio Road ahead, Hydraulic/Earlysville Road on the left and Townwood Road on the right. You will also see a church on your right and "The Rock Store" across-left. Turn right on to Townwood Road. Go to 5.
  4. Once on Rio Road, go through two lights (first one intersects Berkmar Drive). At the third light, you will see Hydraulic road ahead, Hydraulic/Earlysville Road on the right and Townwood Road on the left. You will also see "The Rock Store" on your right and a church across-left. Turn left on to Townwood Road.
  5. Once on Townwood Road, pass Townwood Circle on the right. At the first intersection, turn left on Cool Spring Road. The farther end-house on the second block of houses on the right is tan-coloured. Park in the marked spots or next to the lawn and knock on that house's door -- 1625 Cool Spring Road.
