• 8 May: Grade status (as of 1:15 p.m.): Almost all of the electronically submitted regrades have been handled and returned (there are two more HW J8 ones remaining).  The exam 3 regrades have been handled, and the grades viewed online now show the regraded values (if yours didn't change, then you didn't get any more points via your regrade).  My inbox is still full, so if you sent me an e-mail, I'm a bit backed up...
• 7 May: To figure out what grade you need on the final to get a certain letter grade, you can use the following formula:
  
  Where f is the final exam grade you need to get (on a scale of 1 to 100), t is your target score (if you are aiming for an A-, for example, then t = 89.5), a is your weighted average (on a scale of 1 to 100) and w is the current weight (from the viewgrades page -- probably an 80).  Note that you have to round f up, so if f is 89.1, that means you have to get a 90 on the final to reach your target score.
• 7 May: Grade status: all regrades submitted by 11 p.m. tonight (Sunday night) have been handled and returned, with the exception of the HW J8 regrades (we are working on those).  The exam 3 regrades will be handled on Tuesday morning, and should be in the system by 1 p.m. that day.  I haven't gotten through those who e-mailed me (Prof Bloomfield) personally -- I hope to do that tomorrow (Monday).  It's a lot of e-mails, though, so I may not get through all of them that day...
