Lab Setup / Overview

The general lab setup can be broken down into 7 main components:

• The physical racetrack, the cars and the sensors,
• The input output hardware interface between the track and the VME system,
• The hardware in the VME target system,
• The software running on the target board,
• The software connections between the target and the server,
• The Workstation, and
• The Tornado tools, used to develop, run, and debug the realtime system.
