Linux System Java Upgrade - 10/27/09

Per student demand, we've installed Sun Java 6 JRE and JDK on all staff-managed department Linux machines and made them the system defaults. If you would like an alternative default java or javac on your machine, please contact us to opt out and let us know your hostname and the version you prefer to use.

Solaris Software Upgrades - 8/3/09

We have upgraded a handful of packages for the Solaris Systems in order to address a few user requests and provide the latest packages for a few items:
