When you live overseas, its inevitable that you'll need to mailorder. We tend to
use the web a great deal for this. Click on the categories below to view
the lists. Click again to collapse them. Hope these links help.
-
-
Pix.com - Ever wanted to customize a
gift with a picture on it. This site has a great selection of items and you can even
upload your pictures online.
-
www.pricewatch.com - You can't
buy anything but you find the cheapest prices for any computer part you want. Be
careful with whom you place your order. Sometimes the cheapest doesn't always
translate in acceptable service.
-
Barnes and Noble - Sure it
doesn't sound unique but what the heck, we own stock in the company. Don't bother
with that other online bookseller. Give Barnes and Noble a try.
-
-
Internet Baby - Great sales
and they do ship to APO addresses.
-
The Baby Catalog of America -
Good discounts but you have to join the "club" to get an extra 10% off.
-
Baby Depot
- Associated with Burlington coat factory. I haven't been that impressed by the
prices.
-
Great On-line Storefronts
- AAFES Online Catalog - A great site if
you've got a military ID card. Shipping is included in the prices and if it doesn't
fit, just return it to your closest PX.
- MASS MUSIC - Better than CDNOW in our opinion.
Great selection and you can search their entire catalog. Ships to APO
addresses without a hitch.
- JCPenney - How would you get along without it.
If you call the "toll free" number from Germany, they charge you $5.
Order online and skip the fee.
- Wal-Mart Online - Going overseas doesn't mean you
have to go without Wal-Mart. This is a greatly improved site.
- Eddie Bauer
- L.L. Bean
- Lands'
End
- Crutchfield Electronics - Great service!!
Online ordering and free return shipping if you don't like what you get.
