I worked for the last five years as a senior software developer at WhiteCanyon Software. I maintained and improved several pieces of software there, including WipeDrive, SecureClean and MediaWiper, as well as the company shopping cart. I also created their product MySecurityVault, all the way from writing the first line of code and creating the first window, to writing the help file and creating the installer.
While working at WhiteCanyon, I spent some time as the only programmer, responsible for all of our coding projects. I have been responsible in whole or part for the hiring of several of our employees, including the entire current programming group and the current VP of sales. I have managed different programming projects there, such as MySecurityVault, being responsible for the other programmers and the testing and release.
Part of my work at WhiteCanyon also involved broadening the hardware support in WipeDrive. I worked on adding support for a variety of hard drive, networking, and processor support, as well as adding support for the PowerPC and HPPA architectures. At times, this would require traveling to installations around the country in order to add support while on site.
