I'm joining the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the University of California - Riverside in Summer 2020 as an Assistant Professor. I am looking for highly motivated and hard-working students interested in working at the intersection of computer architecture with machine learning, data mining, databases, and bioinformatics. I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Computer Science Department at the University of Virginia. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Virginia in May 2019 (dissertation, slides), advised by Professor Kevin Skadron. I interned at Friedrich Alexander University (2014), Apple Inc. (Summer 2017), and eBay research (Summer 2018). My focus of research is on accelerator-based, application-specific and reconfigurable architectures, novel computing paradigms, and near-data processing. My work has been recognized with several awards and best paper nominees, including the HPCA'20 best paper nominee and best of CAL (Computer Architecture Letters) award.
