The Bride Stacee Renee Prigmore is the daughter of parents Theresa Prigmore and James Prigmore. Stacee is the only child bourn of that union but she has three half sisters on her father’s side. Born in Washington, DC, Stacee resided in Clinton, MD until the age of five. The environment of her early childhood was filled with sheep, pigs, horses, cows, and other rural whatnots. At five, Stacee moved across the river to Alexandria, Virginia and in four years moved again to the town of Burke, Virginia where she spent the remainder of her childhood.

Stacee’s grade school education included a mixture of public and private schools. She attended Montessori School at a young age which taught her to look at the world with an open and abstract view.

In her high school years, Stacee attended Duke Ellington School of the Arts majoring in classical singing, which speaks to her artistic approach to life. After graduation, Stacee went on to George Mason University and majored in American History and minored in African American Studies. As a result of her undergraduate experience at GMU, Stacee developed a love for learning and decided to continue her education. She is currently attending the George Mason University Law School in pursuit of a J.D. and plans on obtaining a PhD in Conflict Resolution in the future.

Stacee has many interests. Often she has more interests than time to spend on them. She juggles her hectic school and work schedule with her interests in politics, dance, and singing.

Stacee met Gary in the spring semester of 1997 at the ages of 20. They were introduced through mutual friends and now 5 years later are getting married. Stacee and Gary became a couple while attending different schools and their relationship was able to survive a two year stint in graduate school at UVa by Gary and a three month period in Tampa, Florida by Stacee on the 2000 Gore Campaign.

Many of the guests to attend the wedding are from Stacee’s Burke childhood, her Duke Ellington years, her college experience, her law school experience, as well as from the many jobs she has had. Her eclectic comrades closely reflect Stacee’s eclectic lifestyle. The common thread amongst them all is their love of life.
