In the future ...

All powerful corporations rule over small and large regions of colonized space.  Often lead by genius and ruthless executives, these corporations attack one another and plot the downfall of the Central Government of Earth.

A weakening Central Government tries desperately to hold on to what little power it has.  Lead by bungling politicians, there is little hope for the Central Government of Earth.

Independent colonists try to meek out an existence in the distant outer worlds while corporations and the Central Government of Earth try to extend their authority over them.

Religious clerics see this transitioning civilization as ripe for conversion and strive for a resurgence of religion as the dominant form of rule over people.

Noble scientists champion for a better future for mankind and work tirelessly to steer the corporations, government, and religious clerics from catastrophic wars.

Soy has become the primary source of food for all humans.  The loose alliance of Soy Producing and Exporting Corporations (SOPEC) provides 95% of all food to human civilization.

It is in this future, that a ruthless, cunning and shadowy executive furthers plans to radically change human civilization forever and solidify an emerging Soy Conglomerate as the supreme corporation:  The SOPEC Conspiracy.
