Electronic Office Hours
- The teacher starts the Teacher Control Panel
by typing <
gwtts-teacher> when she/he is
available for Electronic Office Hours.
- The Teacher Control Panel lists the students
that are currently "attending" Electronic Office Hours and
allows the teacher to start and stop various sessions (like
video, audio, shared Mosaic and the shared whiteboard).
- Following is a snapshot of the Teacher
Control Panel. Clicking on areas in the window
will explain their function.
Teacher Control Panel
- A student wanting to electronically visit the teacher reads
a document on the Web using any browser. This document tells
the student the names of the teachers that are available for
Electronic Office Hours and when the session was last
accessed.
Selecting the session to attend using a Web browser
- The student selects the name of the teacher which then starts
the Student Control Panel. At the same time,
the students name is added to the list on the Teacher
Control Panel
- Below is a snapshot of the Student Control Panel.
