gwTTS runs on Linux kernels later than 1.2.13.

• nv - Ron Frederick's Network Video Tool
• vat - LBNL Audio Conferencing Tool
• Mosaic - NCSA's World Wide Web Browser (versions 2.6 and above)
• wb - LBNL White Board Tool

Optional Software

• Alladin's Ghostscript. The whiteboard cannot load PostScript images without this software. The whiteboard still functions without it, however.

Recommended Hardware

• Pentium processor
  • 16 Mb RAM
  • Triton PCI chipset
• Sound card
  Due to limitations in the operating system, the choice of sound card is irrelevant at this time. Only half-duplex audio is possible under Linux.
