Research Interests

I'm into parallel and distributed computing with an emphasis on systems (i.e., I like to build real, usable software) and applications (i.e., I like to apply my work to real problems). I have developed a system called Prophet, a partitioner for parallel programs in a heterogeneous environment. I am also a senior member of the Mentat and Legion research groups. I will be joining University of Texas, San Antonio as a faculty member this fall. Here is my vita. What keeps me going.
