The geeks were sprawled out all over the floor,
And they slurred every word as they called out for more.
Rebecca with a bottle, and I with a glass
had just started in on a six-pack of Bass,
when out on the couch there arose such a roar
I knew Wallace and Gromit were in the VCR.
I lept from the kitchen to see 'A Close Shave'
No one else had yet seen it, except maybe Dave.
The geeks quite enjoyed it, they chuckled and laughed
They exclamed "Wallace rules!" "Gromit kicks too much ass!"
When the movie was over, we turned off the TV
and gazed at the presents piled under the tree.
One by one we took numbers and numerically
either unwrapped a gift or stole one we could see.
This proceded for hours until it was clear,
that the party was over: there was no more beer.
The geeks rose to leave, with drivers designated.
They piled into cars, all quite satiated.
They all dozed that night, in their beds snugly tucked.
"That party," they remembered, "did surely not suck."
