This work was done as part of my senior thesis under Pankaj Agarwal at Duke University. [presentation] [paper].

	STAR-Tree I created an OpenGL GUI for this kinetic data structure created by Magda Procopiuc and Pankaj Agarwal [paper]. In the meantime, I also analyzed the road network data and developed several algorithms to reduce the data set by simplifying roads.
	Protein Shape Matching For this part of my thesis, I attempted to use a dynamic programming method to compare protein carbon backbones. We extended well studied algorithms for finding longest common subsequence between the strings to a 3-D structural setting.

INOS and COX-2: I worked for four years at the Veteran's Affair's Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina in the Weinberg lab. I worked with Dr. Dipak Ghosh, studying inducible nitric oxide synthase and cyclo-oxygenase 2.
