Hobbies
Baseball/Softball - I love to watch one and play the other.
Hiking - Since I've been in C'ville, I've taken a liking to more and more outdoorsy stuff. With the mountains nearby, hiking is excellent around here, so it's a great thing to do on a weekend day.
Biking - The mountains and hills make biking a bit of a challenge, but there are still plenty of great spots for a novice like me to go work up a sweat and see some nice countryside.
Motorcycles - I recently sold my old beater '83 Kawasaki and desperately want to graduate and make money so I can get a real ride (that is, one that doesn't require weekly maintenance).
Traveling - If I didn't have to work for a living I'd be out traveling somewhere. My big plan is to try to get to Africa for some safari time after I graduate.
Photography - especially while I'm traveling, I love to take scenery pictures. Check out my travel pictures pages.
Reading - always time for a good book, especially when the weather is nice and I can hang out in my hammock. Tolkien-esque fantasy, some sci-fi, some literarture, an occassional history book, and of course lots of Tom Clancy make up a good portion of what I read.
Wineries - Local wineries are surprisingly good. So, a couple times a year I'll make a pilgrimmage to some wineries for a little taste of the grapes.
Hangin' with friends.
