Description:
This is a view of a portion of Burro Mesa at Big Bend National Park . I took this picture from the dry wash that collects the run off from the Burro Mesa. The wash starts at the Burro Mesa Pouroff which plunges off the side of the mesa about a quarter mile or so further up. This particular picture clearly illustrates the different rock layers that make up the mesa.
