Description:
This is my favorite picture of Halfdome (at least of the ones I've taken - I think Ansel Adams may have had a few that were OK too ...). I had no idea that you could see Halfdome from the Tioga Road, so I was pleasantly surprised when I came to an overlook and there it was. My timing was perfect as the sun was setting. Sometimes it's all about luck.
