"Crowdsourcing the Crisis" is a joint project between the University of Virginia's Department of Computer Science and our School of Medicine.
To promote community resilience in the event of a major disaster, we have developed a crowdsourcing system that facilitates information interchange among citizens and emergency responders using the web and smartphone technologies.
