CS 1110/1111: Introduction to Programming

This course introduces the basic concepts of programming under the assumption that students have never programmed before. It uses the Java language, but the concepts are transferable to many other languages.

At the end of the course, students will be able to take a general description of what they wish the computer to do and turn it into functioning code that causes the computer to do those tasks.

This site is for CS1110 and CS1111. Both courses have the same assignments and pacing, but CS1111 is expected to be taken by people with some prior programming experience and thus does not have labs.
