Friday Poem

A few couplets inspired by my four-hour-long visit to Wales.

Untitled Poem

I like to talk, but the Welsh talk better,
  The way their voices flow, I love!
Their Gælic’s nice, but their English’s better
  ’Tis more like cooing than any dove.

I like my land, but the Welsh land’s nicer,
  The rolling hills, the hedgerows green;
Their homes are nice, and their castles’ nicer,
  The most home-like landscape I’ve ever seen.
