HyperSQL is a scripting language that makes it possible to rapidly construct query interfaces to remote relational databases. Intended for non computing experts, the language requires a minimum knowledge of HTML and SQL programming. The software is intended to run on any UNIX or MS Windows computer and is location independent -- it can reside on the database machine, the user's desktop, or any intermediary server. The software is compatible with Oracle, Sybase, and ODBC-compliant databases.
HyperSQL has been used in building a number of biological databases on the Web (see http://mgd.nacse.org/eggplant.html).
