The famous Stanford Bunny, created by Greg Turk and Marc Levoy and available at the Stanford 3D Scanning Repository. The bunny has become a common benchmark and unofficial emblem for researchers in polygonal simplification.
These simplifications were generated by Carlton Fraley using the VDSlib simplification
package. Carlton used a view-dependent variation of the Quadric Error
Metrics algorithm by Michael
Garland and Paul
Heckbert. Click on a picture to enlarge it.
