Current work:
- Scheduling and co-scheduling algorithms for Grid Systems.
- Working with Anand Natrajan on Job Montioring for Grid Systems.
- Working with Brian White, Marty Humphrey and Andrew Grimshaw on a Secure and Scalable File System Infrastructure. See paper below.
- I/O performance tuning:
Test different stages of I/O tuning, and evaluate I/O performance. Tests include
OpenSSL additions and removal of RSAref, reduction of memcopies in the Legion
protocol stack, and addition of mmps data delivery layer sliding window protocol.
- Buffered I/O library changes:
Allow for multiple buffers for caching read and write requests.
Add support for multple outstanding (asynchronous) read requests, where the user
can define pre-fetch depth and buffer size. This should increase performance in
Legion's buffered file I/O.
