Greetings! I'm a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at UVa. I received my Ph.D. in 2013 from the University of Massachusetts. My work focuses on leveraging student data submitted to an ITS to facilitate the efficient development of intelligent educational systems. I'm also interested in Serious Games; my colleague Mark Sherriff and I co-direct the Game Design Research Group, an undergraduate research group here at UVa.

I was awarded the Hartfield-Jefferson Teaching Prize.
