Research Interests

At present, I am searching for a research advisor (along with a thesis topic). In the past, I've worked with Dr. James French (on information retrieval) and Dr. John Knight (on dependable computing and software engineering). However, I have a number of research interests, including (but not limited to):

• Databases and privacy
• Bioinformatics
• Computer science education
• Formal methods in software engineering
• Cryptography and computer security
• Computational linguistics
• The theory of computation
