I am currently a Research Assistant for Dr. John Knight in the
Dependability Research
Group working on Willow, a
massively-scalable survivability architecture for large-scale distributed
systems management, now fully implemented in Java. We are also applying Willow to the challenges of
nationwide emergency response coordination with the STILT project.
Our most recent paper, "Efficient Hierarchic Management For Reconfiguration
of Networked Information Systems," has been acceped to DSN 2004.
My one-year position at UVa terminates at the end of May, and I will be
moving to Portland, Oregon in July along with my lovely wife who will be
attending graduate school at Marylhurst
University. I am currently seeking a position either as a
teacher/lecturer of computer science or as a software engineer/developer. My
