Nancy is a good friend of this project. She lives with her husband Richard in retirement (although she's hardly retiring, or shy, herself). Nancy first expressed the desire to be able to read a restaurant menu a couple of years ago. More recently she announced that she really wants to be able to identify cans and boxes in her pantry. Thus, the name for our project. Our goal is to deliver to Nancy, and others, the ability to do what many of us take for granted.
