Overview
I am a third-year graduate student at the University of Virginia, in the Department of Computer Science. I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Virginia in May 2010, and started graduate studies in August 2010.
Research
The primary focus of my research is on system safety. Currently this focus manifests itself as an interest in improving the safety of medical devices through the use of safety engineering practices, especially safety cases. I am also interested in the application of formal methods to software and system engineering—again, to promote safety.
