About Me
It's me, Sirajum Munir. I am a graduate student at the Department of Computer Science at University of Virginia.
My current research focus is in the area of Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) that integrates physcial properties with communication and computation. More specifically, I am working to design a reliable packet transmission protocol for real-time applications in wireless sensor networks. I am working under Prof. John A. Stankovic. I also have interest in data mining.
More About Me
I have completed B.Sc. from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in Computer Science & Engineering in June 2007. Then I worked for more than a year as a Software Engineer in Structured Data Systems Limited, a local branch of AfriGIS , one of the leading providers of Geographical Information System (GIS) solutions in Southern Africa. Recently I have worked as a Software Engineering Intern in Google Inc.. In Google, I have worked under AdSense back-end infrastructure team.
