Our site makes heavy use of CSS and XHTML technologies. It is widely known that Internet Explorer has had issues with web standards compliance, and in IE6 the site's appearance is, alas, poor. Since some of the major problems have been fixed in IE7, we recommend this upgrade if you still prefer to use IE. Many issues, however, still exist in IE7, so do not expect correct appearance. To best enjoy this site we therefore suggest using a more standards-compliant browser such as Firefox, Opera, or Safari.
That said, we try to make the site fully functional with any browser. For example, we resorted to using conditional comments to work around CSS bugs in IE because of the unfortunate ongoing popularity of this (so-last-year) browser. However, if you notice an incompatibility, please let us know. If you are a web developer and have specific suggestions to improve the site's interoperability or accessibility that do not involve browser-specific hacks, please do tell us.
