Overview
I am a graduate student in the computer science department at the University of Virginia. I received my B.E. degree in Computer Engineering at Vanderbilt University in 2006. My research interests are in sensor networks. At the University of Virginia, I am a member of the Real-Time and Embedded Systems Laboratory and my advisor is Prof. Kamin Whitehouse. My work involving sensor networks focuses on programming interfaces to the user. Other work I have done include deploying a 48 node sensor network testbed (VineLab) and a wireless sensor network for environmental monitoring (LUSTER). I have also worked with Timothy Hnat on pattern recognition and event detection in sensor networks.
