Interests
My interests are in Wireless Sensor Networks
Outside of school, I enjoy ballroom dancing, tennis, soccer, and many other sports. My musical hobbies include playing the piano and handbells.

Research
I am involved with the Wireless Sensor Network group here at UVA. My advisor is Kamin Whitehouse. My current research is with pattern recognition and event detection and can be used with a range of devices from a single mote to a whole network with a powerful computing backend. The techniques can be used on a single mote, a stargate, or even the backend computing system.
I helped design and build a 48 node wireless testbed (VineLab) to facilitate our research.
