Research
My primary research interests lie in examining the use of Storage Class Memory (SCM) technologies for designing next generation systems. I work with Professor Sudhanva Gurumurthi and
Professor Mircea Stan. So far, my focus has been on the design of Solid State Disks (SSDs) where I have proposed models to measure metrics like power consumption and reliability. These models are derived based on the physical characteristics of SSDs and are abstracted such that they can be used by architecture level studies to obtain interesting architecture/system level insights. I am also exploring SCM technologies like Phase Change Memory (PCM) and Spin-Transfer Torque RAM (STT-RAM) and their use in memory and storage systems.

Undergraduate Education
I received my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from
College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai, India in 2006. My undergraduate thesis
titled Implementation of .NET CLR on FPGAs was completed under the guidance of Professor Ranjani Parthasarathi in May 2006.
Professional
I was a Member Technical Staff in Adobe India
from 2006 to 2008. I was a part of the Mobile
and Devices team and was involved in designing and developing Flash Lite™, a
stripped down version of Adobe® Flash™ Player for mobile phones, pocket
PCs and PDAs.
