I am a graduate student persuing a Ph.D in computer science. I entered UVA as an undergraduate student in 1997 and received my bachelor's degree in computer science in 2001 and my master's degree in 2003. I also achieved a minor in economics and studied four semesters of Japanese. My hobbies include aviation, anime, role-playing games (traditional and computer-based), and the Final Fantasy series of games. For more about me, please see my personal page.
My research interest is software systems safety as it pertains to incident reporting and causal analysis. This is being done under the direction of Dr. John Knight. For more information, please see my Research page.
